Mark your calendars everyone! On February 22, 2018, the foursome of Hungarian short track speed skaters came in FIRST place in PyeongChang, South Korea in the 5000 meter men’s short track relay. The group – Liu Shaolin Sándor, Liu Shaoang, Burján Csaba and Knoch Viktor- remains humble, but extremely excited about this memorable moment that will go down in history as a sport phenomenon. The partakers in the relay were shining on the outside and inside when standing on the Olympic podium, while also accepting a challenge assigned by Usain Bolt. Upon the completion of the famous Bolt hand gesture, medalists will receive an autographed bottle of alcoholic beverage.  Let’s hope Hungary’s first gold medalists of the Winter Olympic Games will not only rejoice in their victory, but also in a nice bottle of champagne. Moreover, our school has a special connection to the team, which furthers the importance of this victory. Lina Zhang, the leading coach of the group, is the mother of Ann Zhang, who attended our school for three years.
